The product does match my original intensions, although I never did my final piece this house model would have been used as a basic building block in the environment for my scene. I would have textured the model before duplicating it repeatedly.
The audience I had intended for my finished product was younger people in general, mostly male though, with the work I have done there is nothing wrong with it that it wouldn’t fit my target audience.
Technically it wasn’t that hard to make, it started with box modelling, using the cut and extrude tool I got the basic shape of the house. Using the same two tools I got the detail work for the windows and doors as well as the wooden framework on the house, I then used the bevel tool on the glass. I think the strengths of my work are my detail work. I think the development I need to do is in the texturing area.
Aesthetically I think it is quite good, it looks quite nice, it would be nice if it was textured properly.
I didn’t have any problems creating the house and as such I was able to manage my time properly and met the deadline, which I am quite pleased about.
I learn from making this that box modelling is probably the easiest form of modelling, skills wise I think I developed further in my modelling skills when I did it, mostly in the detail department.
If I did this again I would attempt to make it more detailed so that it looks better and I would also texture it. I am quite happy with what I made in the end though.
This is my story board of my idea that I was going to do for my final piece of work; I planned on using my house model to make up the streets of the environment.
These drawing are my original concept and the drawing that I would texture to a plane to model the character.
EDIT: A rendered video of my house

Nice job with the sketches and house model, as you already stated you should add texture and more detail, but other than that, nice work ^^
